More About St. Paul's

Growing Christian Leaders for Tomorrow.

Located at 510 3rd Avenue, SE in Cullman, Alabama, St. Paul's Lutheran School strives to provide quality Christian education for children 3 years old through sixth grade. It is an expansion of the ministry of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Along with providing instruction in God's Word and leading children in the Christian faith, St. Paul's Lutheran School emphasizes excellence in Language Arts, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Fine Arts, Physical Education, and Technology. The school opened its doors in 1954. Since that time, it has continuously provided a Christian education for members of the church and others throughout north Alabama.  We offer a PreK 3 class three days a week, a PreK 3  five days a week, a PreK 4 class three days a week, and a PreK 4 class five days a week.  All four of these programs are full-day programs.

We would like to thank the Cullman Electric Cooperative Operation Roundup Program, Cullman-Jefferson Counties Gas District School Grant Program, parents and friends of St. Paul's Lutheran School for providing our teachers and students with the following technology resources.

We are a Wireless Campus that both students & teachers can access. We provide Chromebooks to all students along with software programs, internet, and printer access. PK3-1st have access to One Tab, a literacy based tablet program.

Our hard-wired lab contains 16 desktop computers and 2 network printers. It is staffed with a part time instructional technology specialist.

Teachers maintain classroom web pages and post announcements, assignments, handouts, and other information.

All instructional classrooms have an Interwrite Mobi.  The Mobi is a RF (radio frequency) communication device that allows teachers and students to move freely around the room.  The Mobi allows the user to open software programs and annotate on the screen.  Lessons may be recorded and saved to teacher web page for student review.

All instructional classrooms have an ELMO document camera. Images from the document cameras are run through the computer and in turn displayed with the classroom projector.

All curriculum area classrooms have ceiling mounted projectors.  Teachers are able to project images from their computers, document cameras, and dvd/vcr players.

We currently share 2 sets, 15 devices in each, of eInstruction CPS devices (clickers). The CPS devices are used for review, group games, and quizzes.

Students and parents are able to view grades at anytime using Fast Direct.
